Sacramento Woman Found Dead in Apartment During Welfare Check

Ongoing Investigation into Woman’s Death During Welfare Check in Sacramento

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation following the discovery of a woman’s body during a welfare check at an apartment in Sacramento early Saturday morning. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m., when deputies were called to an apartment located in the 7400 block of Holworthy Way for a routine welfare check.

Upon arrival, the deputies found that no one answered the door. They then discovered that the apartment was unlocked and entered the premises. Inside, they made the tragic discovery of an adult woman who had passed away. At this time, the cause of death has not been determined, and the Sheriff’s Office has not released any further details about the circumstances surrounding her death.

Crime Scene and Homicide Investigations Underway

In response to the incident, crime scene investigators and homicide detectives were dispatched to the location to begin their investigation. The Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the case remains active and is being thoroughly examined. Authorities are working to gather all relevant information and evidence to determine the cause of death and identify any potential leads in the case.
