Incident Involves Assault on Security Officer in Tucson
Tucson Police Department is currently investigating an incident involving the assault of a security officer at TreeStone Security Services. The event took place on July 2, when Security Officer I. Valente was conducting routine patrols around a gas station.
According to reports from TreeStone Security Services, Valente came across four men who were allegedly smoking narcotics near the bus stop. He approached the individuals and informed them that they were trespassing. During this encounter, one of the men became involved in a physical altercation with Valente, striking him in the face.
Valente was reportedly knocked to the ground, and the other three men joined in on the attack. One of them allegedly threw a metal pipe at Valente, causing him to sustain non-life-threatening injuries, including a cut upper lip.
Suspects Identified and Arrested
The Tucson Police Department has confirmed that three out of the four suspects have been taken into custody. These individuals have been identified as Brennan Patterson, 43 years old, Malcolm Kelly, 35 years old, and Tyrell Butler, 32 years old.
Each suspect faces different charges related to the incident. Butler is facing charges of disorderly conduct and trespassing. Kelly is being charged with assault and trespassing. Meanwhile, Butler is also facing additional charges of aggravated assault.
Ongoing Investigation
Despite the arrests, the fourth suspect remains at large. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the missing individual to come forward and contact the police.
