The 2026 World Cup is getting closer to the round of 32, with the final group-stage matches scheduled for Saturday, June 27. Colombia started its Group K campaign with a strong performance, securing a 3-1 victory over Uzbekistan and then a 1-0 win against Congo thanks to a late goal from Daniel Muñoz in the 76th minute.

As the team headed into its final group match against Portugal, it had already secured a spot in the knockout stage. The game ended in a scoreless draw against Cristiano Ronaldo’s team, which helped finalize the group standings.

Who will Colombia play in the World Cup round of 32?

Colombia finished Group K with seven points, securing first place in the group. As a result, they will face the third-place finisher from Group L, which is Ghana. The Black Stars managed to earn four points in their group after defeating Panama 1-0, drawing a scoreless match against England, and losing to Croatia 1-2.

When does Colombia play in the World Cup round of 32?

Since Colombia won Group K, they are set to face Ghana on July 3 at 9:30 p.m. ET (FOX) at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
