LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Billie Lourd took to social media to express her joy and excitement over the recent wedding of her “Scream Queens” co-star, Emma Roberts. The actress celebrated the union of Roberts with Cody John, highlighting the deep affection she has for the couple.

Roberts and John exchanged vows on July 25 during a private outdoor ceremony at a residence in Sun Valley, Idaho. Their wedding was attended by close friends and family, including Roberts’ famous aunt, Julia Roberts. The event marked a significant milestone in their relationship, which has spanned several years.

Lourd shared her own celebration of the occasion on Monday, July 27, posting a series of photos on Instagram. While these images were not taken at the wedding venue, they captured the essence of the festivities. She captioned the post, “#idaho yes #iDaHo for my personal royal wedding @emmaroberts + @johncodyjohn.”

In her caption, Lourd described a fun-filled day filled with adventure. She mentioned, “I prom posed with my brother @mssarahcatharinepaulson and I crocodile dundeed down the river like I was living inside of a meditation app?!!” The first photo featured her posing alongside Sarah Paulson, another “Scream Queens” co-star.

Roberts, Lourd, and Paulson are all set to appear in the upcoming 13th season of “American Horror Story,” further solidifying their professional bond.

The ‘Last Showgirl’ actress also shared more details about her experience, writing in the caption that she “crocodile dundeed down the river like I was living inside of a meditation app?!! Yeaaaaa so basically I peaked (literally cause I was on a mountain and emotionally cause I’m in love with their love!!!!!!)” as she shared fun outdoor moments.

One of the photos in the carousel showed her kissing her husband, Austen Rydell. Lourd and Rydell, both 34, married in 2022 and are parents to a son, Kingston, and a daughter, Jackson.

Roberts is also the mother of a five-year-old son, Rhodes Robert Hedlund, whom she shares with ex Garrett Hedlund.

Speaking about her friendship with the 35-year-old actress, Lourd told PEOPLE last year, “She has a son, and I have two kids now, and we get them together.” The “Ticket to Paradise” star also said their bond is so strong that they wear matching outfits without planning it.

“Emma was there, and I was Tinkerbell, and Emma showed up as Peter Pan. We’re still in lockstep. We didn’t even discuss it. She just knew to be Peter Pan, that I was going to be Tinkerbell. And I just love her,” she added while recalling an event they attended together.

Meanwhile, Roberts’ father, actor Eric Roberts, was absent from the July 25 wedding festivities.

He, however, reportedly shared that he “love[s] my daughter, always have, always will. It is perfectly wonderful for her to celebrate however she wants, with whomever she wants.”
