In-N-Out Burger is continuing its expansion journey, with six new stores set to open across five different states. This marks another step in the company’s growth beyond its original California base, which has been a hallmark of its identity for decades.
The fast-food chain, known for its high-quality burgers and loyal customer base, has gradually expanded its presence into several other states. Recent openings have included locations in Colorado, Texas, Idaho, and even as far east as Tennessee. In addition, the company had previously announced plans to open a store in New Mexico by 2027, signaling its long-term vision for growth.
One of the most notable recent openings was the second-largest In-N-Out Burger location by seating capacity, which opened on the Las Vegas Strip on June 9. This location is a significant milestone for the brand, as it continues to grow while maintaining its commitment to quality and service. Another recent opening took place in Timnath, Colorado, on June 25, further solidifying the company’s footprint in the region.
Despite these expansions, In-N-Out Burger’s CEO, Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson, has made it clear that the company will not be expanding to the East Coast anytime soon. During a talk at Pepperdine University on March 31, she stated that the company would not expand there “in my lifetime.” She emphasized that the brand would not compromise on its standards just to increase its reach. Additionally, she ruled out the possibility of online ordering and pickup, reinforcing the company’s traditional approach to customer service.
